There is a village where the barber shaves all those and only those who do not shave themselves. Who shaves the barber? This is a variation of the Russell Paradox which is named for Bertrand Russell who first proposed it shortly after the turn of the twentieth century.
There are several possible answers including a) the barber had a split personality, b) the barber was a woman and c) the barber wasn't from the village. The Insomniac didn't lose much sleep cogitating the answer because it really doesn't solve the problem of facial hair in America. The U.S. needs a National Facial Hair Care system that is deficit neutral and we need it NOW - not after the August recess. Let's start by appointing a Shaver General with a five o'clock shadow.
