Money Well Spent

During the last several months of my late wife's life she was confined to a wheelchair. We had the house remodeled to make it handicap friendly. Widened doors, lowered light switches, raised electrical outlets, lowered cabinets and replaced flooring to make rolling easier. Made the bathrooms wheelchair accessible including adding a walk-in shower with a tiled bench. Spent lots of money but it was worth every penny.

I now lease the house to a young couple and was rewarded again by receiving the following message:

"I also need to let you know something on a personal note. I have been in a wheelchair since I've been home & I couldn't have asked for a better house. It is absolutely perfect, especially since it was made for wheelchair capability. I see things in a whole different light. It's very frustrating...I don't see how some people do it everyday. I guess people just do what they have to do."
